ACU Graduate Diploma in Family Systemic Therapy

The Graduate Diploma in Family and Systemic Therapy, delivered by WRFTC in collaboration with the Australian Catholic University, is a two-year, part-time specialist postgraduate training program.

This program is the first two years of the ACU Master of Family and Systemic Therapy. Students who complete Years 1 and 2 of the Master of Family and Systemic Therapy program are eligible to cease their studies at this point and exit with a Graduate Diploma  in Family Systemic Therapy.

Course Overview


The aim of the Graduate Diploma in Family and Systemic Therapy is to extend the professional knowledge and skills of helping professionals with specialised knowledge and skills in Family and Systemic Therapy to be able to better deliver family focused, family inclusive, and family therapy services to clients within their area of practice.

Graduates will be eligible for associate membership of the Australian Association of Family Therapy.

The prerequisite/corequisite for this course is completion of the WRFTC Four Day Intensive: Core Ideas of Family Therapy.
